what? what is it?

No matter what I'm doing, I have the distinct pervasive feeling that I'm not doing it right and I should be doing something else. Why? What is that?

You think too much.Just immerse yourself in what you're doing and remember whatever you're doing at the moment is the right thing to be doing. One of the things I read over the past couple of "enlightening" years is that the Amish feel that every task is of equal importance. No chore is of lesser value than any other chore. Taking out the trash is as important as making an art work. Sometimes when I'm standing at the kitchen sink or wiping the counters one more time, I think of that. And just imagine how much better the world would run if everyone felt their tasks were of equal importance.

Our hiking companion, Chel, who Ana knows from high school. saguaros and chollas, oh my
