Last night I started reading The Farthest Shore, third in Ursula K. LeGuin's Earthsea cycle.

Last night I sold The Farthest Shore on half dot com, pretty much during the same hour I started reading it.

Maybe my book is the Eaten One reincarnate.

back to nature

It's been a long time since I hiked, alone or with friends. My bestie from childhood, Ana, has begun exploring trails around Tucson. Today I joined her for a 6 mile hike starting at the Richard Genser Starr Pass trailhead in Tucson Mountain Park. I plan to join her for as many Sunday mornings as I can manage. We've been friends since second grade. That's three decades plus. I'm totally rockin' the Brett Michaels vibe. Those must be Ana's favorite ratty shorts. She's had them forever.
