Utz Cheese Balls. The ne plus ultra of snack foods. (I am ashamed to admit that we polished this off in a mere 5 days.)

Jay's high school lacrosse coach was Andy Utz, a member of this snack family. He would sometimes donate chips for some of our functions.

back to nature

It's been a long time since I hiked, alone or with friends. My bestie from childhood, Ana, has begun exploring trails around Tucson. Today I joined her for a 6 mile hike starting at the Richard Genser Starr Pass trailhead in Tucson Mountain Park. I plan to join her for as many Sunday mornings as I can manage.
